Description

These units are the Netgear RBK842 WiFi 6 mesh system (840 series), which includes one Orbi Router (RBR840) and one Orbi Satellite (RBS840). These have the same hardware as the RBK852 system (RBR850, RBS850), but its system was initially de-rated to AX5700 to sell it as a different model at Costco. Firmware Version 4.6.14.5 subsequently removed this limitation, so this units now support the faster AX6000 link rate. It is now identical to the 850 series. I recently replaced this Orbi WiFi 6 system with a newer WiFi 7 set, so I am selling these. Both units are in mint condition and will be shipped in the original box. The sale includes power adapters and one ethernet cable to connect the base unit to a modem. This system was purchased in May 2020 and has been a rock-sold performer in my large home for the last 4 years.
